I’m a first-time-bio mom and stepmom. Most of my friends are fairly educated ladies who are self-proclaimed feminists like me. I’m a Feminist with a capital F. But I think we often assume things we are doing are pro-woman and pro-feminist which leads to more mommy wars.
If feminism is basically about the spirit of being able to choose, why then are we so angry about the choices of others that differ from our own?
This blog will illustrate the weird things we argue about as moms, the bizarre rhetoric society imposes on us, and the very real struggles women face here.
I am not saying it won’t sometimes be a lot of point-and-counterpoint but I hope it will lead to some discussions.
I also can’t promise there won’t be ranting. There may be some rants.
